RIP beautiful Bruce

I’m saddened beyond belief to have to let you all know that Bruce has been found deceased, following our search of the river today.

He had 8 wonderful years and lived the best life a dog could have and brought so much love and laughter into our family. He was as much of our family as anyone could be and we knew him as Bruce the adventure dog.

We can now give him a doggy send off, and I know my Mum will be welcoming him with her angel wings into whatever life comes after.

We want to thank everyone who has helped in the relentless search for Bruce, from putting out posters, posting on social media, dog tracking, flying drones, following up suspected sightings, river diving/wading and all the emotional support. The amount of time volunteers devote to the search for missing dogs has overwhelmed us and we will be forever grateful to you all. I’ll send another message to call out our core group of search hero’s when I’m in a better state and won’t miss anyone out, but thank you all, you know who you are. 🙏❤️

To the public that got behind the search for Bruce and became emotionally invested, thank you all too, we are definitely a nation of dog lovers.

Here are some of the great memories of his wonderful life, sorry for so many pics but so many people have been liking his pictures I wanted to share some more. Many are with his big brother Travis the tri colour collie who is missing him immensely and very sad to lose his little brother too.
