- WONDERFUL NEWS! WILMUR IS BACK HOME. I believe her new owner went out searching with their greyhound and Wilmur went to the dog and was then caught easily. Thanks for excellent advice Sable, quite right - dogs which are nervous with people will often go to another dog. Owner says he is very grateful to everyone for all their help. Stay safe now Wilmur, no more running off! xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- That is an extra danger if she has leads attached, as she can become caught up and trapped somewhere in the woods.Might be an idea to take another dog with you to sniff out where she may be in those woods, just in case she is, and if she is hiding up in there, request some scenting instructions from the co-ordinator dealing with the dog, to contain her. Had a similar one in Scotland recently and it was a fair job to catch her. Barbecue/ cooking smells, in the early morning /crack of dawn flushed her out and then it was a matter of keeping her in the same area. She was caught the next day.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks Jan, will put posters up tomorrow. Owners have been out all evening looking for her. She was sighted on the road this evening but ran off into the woods again. She has two leads attached. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Poor Wilmur had just been rehomed and she has run off in Rendlesham Forest. SHE IS TIMID AND WILL NOT APPROACH ANYONE. If she is seen, please do not scare her but contact owner on poster immediately. Stay safe Wilmur till you are found. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
