Hi, many thanks to everyone for looking out for Rosie and for your comments and to Jan who has been absolutely brilliant.  Will get a photo of Rosie from the owner and put it on the website so you can see how cute she is!  Thanks again to everyone for your help in finding her. Brilliant news just had a phonecall from Woodys Mum, Rosie has just been REUNITED.  Her finder seen a poster in Central Park while walking his own dog tonight.  He has been looking after her for a few days but had not reported her to the DW.  When he was travelling to work by Train on the day she went missing a couple of lads had Rosie and got off the train and left her, he ran after the lads and said they had left her to which they replied she is not our dog.  Finder took the day off work to look after her.  Owner and Woodys Mum are over the moon to get her back.  Well done and THANK YOU to the finder for looking after her, at least now he will know to report a found dog to the DW etc.  Power to the poster.   Welcome home Rosie and great to see you going into the BLUE.  Thanks also go to Woodys Mum for helping her owner.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to Woodys Mum who only has limited Internet access for an update.  There have been no sightings of Rosie.  Discussed further things to do and I've said she may have been picked up by someone who does not know that she should be reported as found.  It can sometimes take a few weeks for a poster to be seen in the right place.  Hopefully we will have a proper photo of Rosie soon.  Keep up the brilliant work with the postering.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Woodys Mum, I did see she had been put on the Council website last night and updated some of the info from there.  I'll do various size posters later tonight and email to you.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi again, Im just waiting for the picture of Rosie to come through on the email and I will add it to the site.  Thanks to Alfmar for checking the found dog and thank you Jan for texting and updating Rosie's details on the website.  Rosie has been put on the Council Kennels site in the lost section by her owners.  The owners have been out looking for her and i went out last night around both of the parks over the road from where she went missing and around the allotments and side roads but there is no sign of her so far.  Hopefully we might have a bit more luck once the photo has been added and we can put the posters up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, this is my neighbours dog, she is small and very friendly.  She escaped through the open front door on 17th March.  I will try and get a photo of her from the owners tonight. Thanks, Julie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Woodys Mum, sorry to see Rosie is missing.  Thanks for registering her details on behalf of her owners with DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once photo/s are uploaded by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Great she is Chipped do ensure her owners contact the Chip Co and report her missing and check their details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
