- We found him!!! I was looking for him all night. He was in the same park when someone reported 12:30 PM yesterday. Can’t believe he is with us.

- We left open gate for him. Waiting for him come back. I started put posters everywhere, bus stops, pubs, train stations and other places. I can’t believe this is happening. Thank you all for advice and sharing information.

- Ohhh, I am so so sorry that someone broke in..upsetting and traumatic in itself, but to have your beautiful boy run off in fright and distress, must be very distressing for you 😢..
Most dogs... Unless picked up of course then handed in to vet or warden... DO return home once they feel calmer..... He might be hiding under parked vehicles or hedges /shrubbery / structures close-by.... Have you checked and double checked very quietly?.. If you search by torchlight you need red or green filter... White will scare a dog...
The best thing is to wait inside a downstairs room.. With the house entrance door wide open....(and any gate too).. I realise this is a big ask when you have already had intruders... but Frankie needs access at all times for when he feels ready to come home and thro the door... If the door is closed he may well turn and go.....
Place a Worn, unwashed item of clothing of the family member with whom he has most bond, at any gate and then by the Open house door... Dressing gown... Sweaty socks /shoes etc.. Close by but not touching (would confuse scents) Add a bowl of water and some highly smelling Stinky food.. Tinned sardines in oil/ chopped tinned hot dog Sausages etc. Mixed with hot water and beef Oxo cube /gravy granules .. Drizzle the liquid residue from gate to door.. It keeps a dog's attention... I hope this helps xLast edited: 2022-05-11 00:48:10 by #stoppettheft - 2022-05-10 23:06 Marcin
- Thank you all for help and sharing information. We still looking after him. Is very painful for us. Today someone broke in to our house. Unfortunately when police arrived dog was so scared and run off. They try to stop him but he was scared and shocked.
