Just had a phone call from a friend of the owner of beautiful Fred. His collar has been found on the hills not far from where he went missing last year. It seems he would have died of natural causes. His body would have been hidden in the undergrowth, and  now that the bracken has died back on the hills, his collar became visible in the snow, still with his hair attached. At least his mum has closure now and knows that nothing really bad had happened to him. God bless you Fred. xx

Fred is still missing. Please look out for him. He may not be in the area now. He is a distinctive looking dog, so please keep a look out for him and call owner on  01882 633241 - or Doglost if he is seen.

There have been searches every day for Fred, but so far, he has not been seen or heard of anywhere. He may be moving around. Hope he is ok.

More details on Fred's whereabouts last night.He is E of Finnart but W of Finnart Lodge / W of Croiscrag
To the south - he is N of loch Finnart but W of loch Monaghan Is there anyone who can help to search there?

Hi I used to work near Rannoch, These dogs could be tracking Deer or Game and can cover very large distances i would contact local estates, Ben Alder Estate, Dounin Estate,Cambuserecht estate,Corrour Estate, ardverickie estate The keeper may help.   Regards and good luck   Scott

According to ukcampsite.co.uk there is a caravan and campsite called Kilvrecht C and C Site at Kinloch, Rannoch Tele 01350 727284           fax. 01350 727811 no obvious email address.  With Easter fast approaching wonder if they would put up a poster.

There is word of Fred being on Corrie Carrie, on the South bank of Loch Rannoch, still to the West of Craiganour
Lodge. Even though that's
on the North bank,it narrows the search area slightly. Need to poster
Finnart to Rannoch School area. Can anyone help with this?

Fred's owner has been searching continually, but there have been no signs of him. Where he went missing is very dense woodland, moors and remote areas of country land and a huge expanse of it. If there is anyone who can help search please give the number on Fred's page, a ring .Thanks.The number belongs to someone who works with the owner of Fred and she is taking the calls while the owner is out searching for him. Come on Fred - where are you gorgeous boy??

There have been no sightings of Fred despite extensive searching throughout the area where he went missing. Hope there is some news soon, and good news.

Are there any helpers in the PH17 Pitlochry area? Please help to search if you can. Give the owner a ring in the number on Fred's page here. There is a huge area of woodland and moors to search. We need all the help we can get. Have emailed lots of helpers from our huge database in the area. Hopefully some of them will be available to help.
