More info: Very timid but friendly dog. Not familiar with immediate area of where he escaped so unlikely to find way home and is walked on lead.

“Hi, hoping for some help to reunite my girlfriends grandparents with their beloved dog (Fred, white and ginger Shih-Tzu, 6-7 years old).

Last seen on fields near Blackbrook rugby club around noon (area circled).

Extensive search on foot, bike by family including most grassed areas around Parr, Blackbrook, Sankey Valley but no joy so far.

Family are distraught and praying for a miracle.”

If found you are legally obliged to contact the local animal warden.
