- Sadly Roxy is still missing.
The animal shelter has been contacted and sadly the found dog isn't a match fro Roxy, the found dog is older than Roxy would be now and the markings don't match, the found dog also doesn't have a ridge along her back but thank you Ronnie for thinking of Roxy x - 2015-03-06 22:58 RonnieCSS
- Was this girl ever found? I just came across one that's been fostered for 4 years who is slightly similar - scroll near the bottom of page to see Tess. Could it be her?

- Have added to my Facebook page. It is the East Anglia Hound Show this weekend (28th November) so I have sent this page/details through to the show secretary to see if she'd put a poster up at the show since there are going to be a lot of hound - and specifically Rhodesian Ridgeback people there. Fingers crossed we get a lead from it. Best of luckLast edited: 2010-11-25 13:17:52 by Spikethelionfish

- I hope the link has helped. When I tried to cross match this onto their forums I was told quite categorically that because this is a commercial site they wouldnt allow the cross matching. I told them that it didn't matter whether it was commercial or not the dog was the main concern To me it is the welfare of the dog that is the most important every other site that I have been on allows this which is very important in my view. They are saying that it is a possible red lab or ridgback cross but Ashford Police have been notified if this helps. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I've now contacted Ashford Warden and they do not know of a dog of this description. I also contacted Maidstone Warden who put me onto Viking Kennels 01732 883468 but they didn't have a Ridgeback either. I suggest Roxy's owners call them again in case the dog has been moved across to them later today or tomorrow. I have emailed Roxy's owners with contact nos. If anyone has any further info please post on this page, thank you. Hope you'll be home safely soon Roxy. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- No afraid there's no more news of Roxy at all. Owners have been searching but have not seen or heard anything. They have been given another 50 posters but none seem to be going up. Do get them up as soon as poss Roxy's family so that people can let you know if they've seen him. He could be anywhere by now, and bad storm here tonight which could have spooked him. Stay safe Roxy. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I went over and had a look round for a while but didn't see anything yesterday. Put posters up along Thurlston Lane and flyers in houses and gave to a nice man who runs round the area each day. Also gave to girls at the Nursing Home. Henley's Happy Hens will put a poster up and look out for Roxy. Trap was left set all day yesterday and checked, believe owners were staying out last night watching. Come on Roxy give yourself up now. xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Food was taken last night so this could have been Roxy. Owners are hoping to set trap and poss stay out overnight Wed with barbecue. They may also take Roxy's friend with them. Roxy is extremely nervous so if anyone sees her please do not frighten her off but call owner. Have sent revised posters to owners as they do not have a printer. Come on Roxy, home now. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- ROXY HAS BEEN SIGHTED! She has been seen regularly around a farm in Thurlston Lane off Henley Rd, eating horse food and drinking from a stream. She is thin. Owner's friend saw her this eve 7pm but she ran off. Beardies In Need is helping with trap and owners have scenting advice. I or owner will update again when more news. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR HER DO NOT APPROACH HER AS SHE'S VERY NERVOUS NOW BUT CALL OWNER IMMEDIATELY. Let's hope she's home soon. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Roxy escaped from her new garden in Sproughton Rd last Thurs. 19th. She was sighted same day in Norwich Rd 2.30pm and Westerfield during evening - this is 3-4 miles away. She was heading towards Henley. (There are other Ridgebacks living in Henley Rd so this could have been them?) She used to live in White House Rd so could have been heading back there. Since then there have been no sightings. Owners have heavily postered whole area, vets, kennels, etc. and contacted Councils. Roxy is friendly but scared of cars. Info has been emailed to owner and photo requested so we can get posters done. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR HER. Stay safe Roxy till you are found. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
