This creates a wonderful mental image of owners hot-footing it after Fraiser and plucking Fraiser up on the gallop, well done to all concerned and hope the little fella will not have any more adventuresLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh that is such brilliant news!  I drove home tonight through Horsley in a quite dramatic hail storm and my thoughts were with Fraiser, not knowing he was safe.  Welcome home, little one, and stay safe!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

FRAISER IS HOME !! After many calls of sightings Fraiser was being tracked as he flew across fields until he ended up running like the clappers along a road.Owner drove there & scooped Fraiser up by the collar as he was running ! "James Bond" eat your heart out !! Well done everyone & a big thank you to those who helped so much by postering & calling about sightings etc.  Fraiser will be spending some quiet time close to home now in order for his owners to recover ;-) .. WELCOME HOME little guy. Stay safe now sweetheart. Steph x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks cosmicveggie, this could really help with Fraiser. Any dogs that he knows going on walks around that area,in this case, might just lure him out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just wanted to add that A said he liked other dogs - this was the reason he was sat at the back of the ladies garden (mentioned previously), her two dogs were in the garden chewing bones.  He will come up to meet other dogs - let's hope this works with getting him caught!!!!  Good luck all today...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo of Fraiser now up on site, thank you for sending this Neil & Adam. Some great help on the ground here, thanks everyone! It's now a matter of keeping Fraiser in the area, tracking his movements, to then quietly getting him to come to you or if he's not going to have that then perhaps a trap ,well manned will do the trick.  Posters with a photo will now help to get more people seeing him enabling you to follow his movements. Good luck everyone.SxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just got back from putting a few of Fraisers Dog Lost (without photo) up at Sheepleas - will put more up (if needed!) all being well when Frasier's photo is supplied. Sheepleas is quite a BIG  area - anyone else around?!  Met a Pet Doc's Nurse and Partner who had sighted him near the EH Village Hall (sorry not sure which day) but they have put up posters around there -  they said Frasier was very frightened. Spoke to some other dog walkers and some friends living in West Horsley - those I spoke to -  some had already heard  Adam, Gilly and friends have been actively postering and spreading the word!  Have also asked neighbour to put poster up at Indian Farm (?) Stables. Will contact Effingham Golf Club and ask them. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you UK & Freda for your help here also cosmicveggie for your help & updates especially on the sightings. This is good & promising. I have sent owner some scenting instructions as well as some suggestions on where to poster. Also an email address for where to send a photo if Adam is having trouble getting a pic up on site directly.Carrying out the scenting & other hints on what to do (in email) should keep Fraser in the area & enable his owners to gradually bring him closer. Fingers crossed .Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to recap - Fraiser last seen in field cornered by Park Horsley, the A246 and Dirtham Lane - if you look at the satellite map of this area on google you can see a large house with lots of ground - that was the last sighting place, in the field directly behind.  5.30pm this evening.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner 's Grandson - A - is trying to sort out image (been having difficulty) but should be on site later this evening.  I have advised of importance of keeping this site updated and he is extremely grateful for all the help so far.  His parents have now arrived back in the country and will continue the search with him first thing in the morning.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been out with Jilly (Monkey) Patsy's friend for a couple of hours at teatime. Fraiser was seen at around 3pm this afternoon in the field behind Horsley Towers and directly behind the garden of a house in Park Horsley (small cul-de-sac).  The lady tried to call him but he ran off. Jilly saw him again at approx 5.30pm in the same field but he ran away from her and we think into a large garden.  Despite searching we found no further trace of him. Park Horsley has been postered and we've spoken to everyone that was around - all very helpful.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have just notified two Vets - Stocton in Guildford and Pet Doctors in Horsley.  Vet Nurse at the latter actually saw Fraser yesterday in Village Hall area - unable to catch him but notified owner. - She told me Fraser is WEARING A RED HARNESS which will easily identify him!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to hear Fraser is missing.  I live in Bookham, about 3 miles away - just so sorry I am not free to do anything to help until later Sunday afternoon.  Have local Vets and Guildford DW been notified? Hope to hear good news soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I met A (member of F's family) with friends this morning at E Horsley Tennis Club - they have been actively postering in the Pennymeade Drive etc area. I asked A to contact DL with photo of F so DL can do a poster and put it on the website. I have walked through the Ridings Woods and put some posters up there, have rung friends in W Horsley to ask them to put posters up there. Gilly (I think)/ Monkey (dog) knows Patsy.  Will continue to poster etc and spread the word - will be watching the website. Good Luck A, (and family)T,G,R,H ! Hoping to see and read good news SOON.
