Have called owner for an update on Dfor. I am sure she would have let me know if there was any news of this old girl though. There have been no sightings and no news of DFOR.

Spoken to owner of Defor and the found dog does look like her, but she is going to call the kennels tomorrow to go over the markings of the found dog.

It's a very long shot but please check the dog on the link www.lostdogsyorkshire.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=38264073 of a dog found in Yorkshire. These do get scanned for chips, but please check just in case.

This is unfortunately not the same dog as Defor as it turns out.Thanks to everyone for helping to seek out this lookalike of DEFOR.

Local dog warden is having a look into it as she starts at 07.00 but does not know which is the road referred to as Tar road.  There are so many roads into this vast forrest.

Info passed to Scottish co ordinators.  A similar dog has appeared for the last month in the Tentsnuir Forest, Tayport, Fife.   Being walked by a couple every morning at 08.45 on a lane through the forest known locally as the Tar Road. This boxer also walks with a limp.

Response to a newspaper ad brought a sighting which may be Dfor in Elgin area, which is a long way up north from where she went missing. Have given owner contacts for rescues in those areas along with dog warden numbers.
