DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
e mail to HQ   Hi,   Jut to let you know, Diesel is now back with us, he had been taken in by a family on Wellington Road North - the A6 out of Manchester. Following you advice one of the places we reported him missing to was the local RSPCA, sure enough, the family when they found him contacted them rather than the dog warden & last night he came home. Thank you for all your help.   I have tried updating his status on the site, but I cannot seem to get onto his page.   Once again thank you for all your help,Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner, he has been known to wander before.  Owners have only lived in the area for a few months and there was a temporary gate which Deisel must have knocked over.  Deisel is known in the area.  DW has been contacted, owners visited Manchester Dogs Home.  Will send various size posters and further information to owner a.s.a.p.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Grannygail, sorry to see Diesel is missing.  Thanks for registering his details to DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be  logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
