The dog is chipped, chip is not registered so we do not know who the owner is or how old the dog is. Apart from being extremely underweight, she also has sores on her front legs. The dog was found in a residential garden in the Sutton Coldfield area and has gone to kennels for some TLC and a veterinary check-up. Any information on who the owner is, can be provided confidentially on 0121 303 9919

- Really sad update from Birmingham council wardens ππππ
“We do have an update but it's not good news we're afraid.
Our dog wardens took her to a local vet, where x-rays revealed she had a huge abdominal mass. Sadly - given her age, the trauma of surgery and poor prognosis for recovery - it was deemed kinder to put her to sleep.
This also highlights the need for all pet owners to take their animals for regular check ups particularly if there are any unusual symptoms (ie not eating, mobility issues) and to ensure that their dog’s microchip details are properly registered and the owners full details updated.” - 2022-06-28 22:24 Louise
