Genie's mum
Hi I have the collie on the found pages, found in Essex, the dogs look very similar, the collie I have does not have a full white rough he has a clear break on both sides. Bobby looks to have a full white rough. I can send more photo's of markings if needed, but I can see that Bobby is different.

Gadfan, is Bobbie a full Border Collie?  Breed says Colle Cross you may have had problems selecting the right breed.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Circumstances:  lost in the Pontrug/Bethel area about 5 miles from his home adress.  Was picked up by police in Pontrug on saturday 21, they asked around local farms if they had lost a dog.  As it was a weekend no dog warden was available to take bobbie so a farmer said he would look after him. but when the policeman took me to the farm bobbie had gone/escaped. dog warden/local vets/most farms in the area have been informed, have put add in local paper and posters around area, have had quite a few responses but no luck in finding him, did have a black collar but not when picked up by police on Saturday.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Gadfan, sorry to see Bobbie is missing.  Thanks for registering him details with DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo (I have cropped and reloaded it to bring it closer) you need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been uploaded by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
