- The search area stretches from the Scrubtor Car Park in the north to Morwellham Quay in the south, following the Tamar and wooded areas bordering the river.
From Rocco's family: "... knowing rocco he will be hiding somewhere scared tiered and hungry. All I ask is everyone please be safe while out and try and stick to designated routes as there are some old mine shafts deep within the wood off the tracks the large majority are capped or fenced off. I also just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who is offering to help and helping to spread the word on Facebook. We just need to get him back home to his brother.
Lots of love to you all. โค๏ธ"Last edited: 2022-07-15 13:19:30 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2022-07-15 12:41 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Update regarding meeting/parking location:

"Hi everyone after speaking to tamar trails and the local warden, we will be meeting at the Devon consuls carpark 9:00 as there is much more space here and no parking fee. They have opened the gate to the chimney stack so we can park in there and the other carpark next to it. If any one needs direction let me now will try and put up a link to the exact location.".

"hi every one, we are trying to get as many people together on Saturday morning to help us try and find rocco. we need as many people as possible as there are so many different routes and tracks. we will be in the main car park 9:00 Saturday morning. on Monday we had found paw marks in the mud going up the bank just bellow the weir, further investigation today after getting right into the river i am 100% convinced he is out and scared somewhere within the woods. please help us bring are baby home. there are also many other carparks dotted around the trails if people want to head to different locations to help cover as much ground as possible, there is also the woods on the otherside of the road at Gunnislake Bridge. he could be anywhere but just need one person in the right place at the right time. we are all heart broken and devastated I have been down there day and night since it has happened. please share this far and wide.
there is a charge for the car park but I will happily cover the cost of this for everyone just pm me on the day with your paypal/bacs and I will sort it all out on Sunday.
we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has helped share on facebook and who have already been down looking. your love and support is the only thing keeping all three of us going at the moment and need to reunited joey with his brother and best friend.".Last edited: 2022-07-15 10:49:47 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2022-07-13 09:21 Vizslamum

- Already shared to DogLost Cornwall and DogLost Devon from an original post on Gunnislake Community Matters where advice has been given. Also shared on local groups bordering the Tamar and drone support has been requested via Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK.
Will add website link and poster images to the posts where I can.
