- Wonderful News, thanks for the text Jayne, what a small world the doggy world is eh? Thank you to the finder for saving her little life and for checking doglost to get her back home safely. I would reinforce getting her chipped asap and keeping an eye on her when she is in the garden at all times. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I do hope little Tiffany is soon reunited. Just for information I was paranoid about dogs/puppies being stolen and my Beagle puppy was chipped at 9 weeks without any problems but a lot more peace of mind for me. Good luck TiffanyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- It is Tiffany! It appears she was stolen by travellers and managed to wriggle free several miles away on the busy A1 where she was playing in the traffic. A local lady scooped her up off the A1 and took her home and started making enquiries and then saw Tiffany's details on our site that were put on yesterday. Because the lady suspected she was stolen she did not want to put details up incase the wrong people tried to claim her. Its a small world.....Tiffany had been bought for this mans children to replace a bulldog that had recently died. The person who picked the Pug up was the breeder he had bought his Bulldog from! Well done to the finder!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Fingers crossed !!! I'd get her microchipped when home. I know she will only be small but my vet chipped my Shih Tzu at about the same age. She is beautiful.

- I will put a couple of posters up in my car - it always seems to attract people's attention doing that (people can't help being nosey and looking to see what it says). Try asking in Asda in Hatfield town centre and Tesco at Hatfield, they may be willing to put a poster up for you, and if there is a pet stall in Hatfield market, they may help. Also if quick, you may catch the Hertfordshire Mercury before they issue Friday's edition. Not sure when Welwyn and Hatfield Times comes out, but you could give them a try.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi I?m sorry to hear your dog is missing. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres?local council stray dogs holding kennel give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars.., If you can go down there each day to check for your dog that is the best thing as they only have to hold a dog for 7 days before it can legally be rehomed or in some cases destroyed. It is also worth contacting the local police as if someone has found your dog they may well have contacted them. email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo please if you haven?t already.Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in). Get postering now?..as quickly and as many as you can physically manage. POSTER POSTER POSTER!!!?I cannot emphasize how important this is, from the posters you will get sightings and lots of extra pairs of eyes looking out for your dog. if your dog is tattooed or microchipped, then of course state so in your posters, but remember to phone the tattoo and microchip people... get them to look up your details and confirm they have the best and most current contact numbers for you. And a backup if possible. Poster bus stops, train stations, supermarket/retail park car parks, pet shops petrol stations, lay by snack vans, service stations, bins, poo bins, shopping centres, take away outlets, pubs, lamposts, caf?s, leisure centre?s,??.basically anywhere people go you need to poster like mad so nobody misses them? ask in as many places as you can if they will display a poster for you. Tell postman and binmen and give them a poster so they have your phone no handy? look up and call all local dog walkers and email them a poster if possible. in fact tell every single person you meet while searching as the more people know the much better chance of getting your dog back quickly. Contact the local newspaper and radio stations? take out an advert with a photo in the papers pets section lost and found. If you believe your dog has been stolen then it is very important you contact the police for a crime reference number?. And the postering publicity should have the aim of not only getting your dog home but making it too hot to handle, also check the area that your dog was taken from?..are there cctv camera?s that could have captured whoever took your dog?. Good luck xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
