It has been confirmed by Digger's owner (listed on DL and also the one mentioned in a couple of posts below) that this dog is sadly not Digger.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Jayne, I cannot remember that there was any cuts or bits missing from the dogs ear, so phoned my hubby and he said he is 99% sure there wasn't. He was taken to a fab rescue place where he was happy to rest, apparently he slept all afternoon and yesterday they were planning to give him a full vet assessment which I was pleased about as he seemed to have trouble laying down as if he had hurt his back maybe ? He reminded me of an old Citroen car how they slowly rose and fell. If anyone wants to know more or needs more photo's - happy to send them on - just email me haggerwoods@aol.com Just looked at your SLR site, oh dear, i've fallen for your Ollie he is adorable ! Just a thought but this looks to me like a Galgo Espanol, a Spanish hunting greyhound.  There is a lady in the SE who rescues them. Her name is Laura Weatherley and I have her phone No if anyone needs it. It's an 01689 number.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This poor boy was found wandering along the single track road between the back of Catmere End and Strethall, going towards Duxford. Vets have scanned, no microchip I'm assured he's a Lurcher x Saluki He's a good looking boy, very underweight apparently. He was very slow, and the few cars that were coming over the road passed him by as he ambled along the road. He was obviously in a little pain as he moved slowly, and tried to rest but had difficulty laying down on his back end so would lower just the front and kind of bow. He's friendly with people, likes a fuss, has quite a few old scars and wounds on his legs and underneath him. Maybe used for hare coursing as police and gamekeeper seemed out in force at that time locally ? Seemed a little slow maybe, but after sitting nearby him for half hour gained his trust, and he came to us. Lovely chap, hope he's got a loving owner whose been missing him for some time, maybe he got into the wrong hands somewhere along the line ?  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
