WONDERFUL NEWS AND ONE VERY LUCKY LITTLE GIRL! X
DogLostGnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset
Lyra is home safe 💞 We can only assume that she ran the length of the railway tracks from Sterte Bridge through and over Holes Bay to the other side of the water and was spotted by Upton Country Parks ranger who swiftly contacted her owner. An hour later she was safe and in her car.
Stay safe lovely Lyra, no more adventuring please x

I've met with Lyra's owner and the dog sitter today whilst out searching. We are fairly confident it was Lyra sighted on the railway tracks soon after another confirmed sighting has come to light of her running very close to Sterte railway bridge.
Network rail are aware and phone numbers left with the local station. Cctv is being monitored by the business owner likely to spot her if she finds her way back. Posters are going up in hope they will bring news of sightings. Lyra is both chipped and wearing a collar and tag with up to date contact info Last edited: 2022-08-27 23:22:54 by Gnasher - Area Co-ordinator, East Dorset
