- Other Info Ruby likely escaped from garden Pensham Hill area to exit onto the verge or highway on 26th August. Found gone approximately 1 hour later. Likely left the garden 12.30 hours and noticed missing 13.30 hours. Initial 30 minute search in area, no Ruby found. Subsequent searches of neighbouring gardens and the road and verges for several hours in the afternoon and evening of Friday. No Ruby found. Searches on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th more extensive. Not found. Fear run over, but not trace or stolen.

- Thank you all. I found Ruby this morning down by the Avon riverbank on the grass. The area had been searched multiple times and dog wakers, but she must have been secreted in the bracken. He legs were muddy but otherwise undamaged and intact. Likely had a drink then moved on 1 yard and fell to her left onto her side. Eyes open and at rest. Not swollen but Rigor Mortis, so must have died hours before; I speculate soon after dawn. Don't think she suffered. One last adventure then sudden death. Good bye my hound. Grateful for your times. David
