Email back from owner:
"I think that I will have to accept that I will never see her again. A neighboring farmer had hers returned after a month after The Citizen did a story on Poppies? disappearance. A person in Tuffley recognized the dog from the picture & informed the dog warden. I was so happy for her."
So sadly Nora is still missing, but don't give up there is always hope as just goes to show that dogs can be found as Poppy was found, but we shall keep looking for Nora so keep those posters going up & checking all the likely places please. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Noras Mum has postered further afield now. Today she went in to the Forest of Dean/Tewksbury/Malvern area, she met with police who had heard of her missing girl! So word is spreading. She is doing a superb job, taken time off work but no internet access atm. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My knowledge may be a little rusty, however I used to live near Brookthorpe.  My guess would be that any dog picked up by a member of the public or local area dog warden, it is likely to have gone to Stroud dogs home or Teckles in Gloucester as it isn't far from either.  There is a popular pub nearby (I don't recall the name) but it would be worth letting them know/postering at the pub.
Best of luck x

I  can only see a Brookthorpe Road, is this the place.? FLAGGBAG want to give me a ring? 07887 717586.Looks like the main Railway line runs through that area, worth asking the Railway workers, I can get no from Judys mum, as she contacted them, for the same reason. Looks quite built up, lots of houses schools etc. If she has been taken in locally , the area needs covering with posters, and make this little girl too hot to handleLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Picked photo up out of Admin and now uploaded.  Fingers crossed she is back home soon.  Good luck.  Jan x Further info from owners email: I believe that my rough haired Jack Russel was stolen from my property yard on the evening of March 17th.. Thorough searches of local area have been carried out.  I have informed many people & organisations but have had no results so far.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
