‼️ PLEASE SHARE, SHARE, SHARE ‼️
THOR, a usually friendly, but now extremely SCARED rescue dog, escaped from the garden of his new home in Jury's Gap, on Saturday 8th October 2022.
He initially was seen entering the sea further along the beach, but coastguard checked, and could find nothing. Then, 5 days later on the 13/10, he was spotted TWICE...but is stuck behind the secure fencing of the HUGE area at Lydd Barracks military ranges
Owner and LDRS are negotiating with the relevant organisations (Army, Natural England) to obtain access to this highly protected site (which is a registered 'site of special scientific interest (SSSI)) with the intention of safely trapping Thor. Military patrols on the site are aware...but Thor is not likely to be easily caught 'by hand'...HE NEEDS TRAPPING SAFELY.
PLEASE CAN EVERYONE IN THE AREA KEEP EYES PEELED FOR THOR - BOTH BEHIND THE FENCING OR, IN CASE HE DOES MANAGE TO GET OUT, ACROSS THE AREA TOO!!
Thor is NOT to be approached - he will bolt - but needs to calm and settle for either his owner/previous owner to secure him, or to be safely trapped
If you see him, note the following and call/message us asap:

⏰ TIME (exact time if possible or AM/PM)
📍 LOCATION (pinpoint on map)
🧭DIRECTION HEADED (nearest landmark)
🐕BEHAVIOUR (walking, running, nervous, calm, sniffing, did they stay in the area? How long?)
📸GET A PHOTO (for ID) if you possibly can
