This boy has now been re-homed. Have had a very nice email from Boxer rescue Norfolk. Hope it all works out very well for him. So very pleased he has been homed to a vetted home supplied by Norfolk Boxer Rescue. He is living with two bitches in an experienced boxer family and they hope to do a follow up visit soon. Great news. Good luck fella x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sadly it wasn't Beau either, as owner let me know they have their boy back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to clarify this dog was not found with a collar.  He was running round with a rope round his neck as a collar.  By the time he was caught he did not have anything on him, so the blue collar is not relevant to the previous owners.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have E-mailed a couple of my friends that live close by to Westleton in the hope that they have heard of some one losing a boxerLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
georgieboy
Hi everyone, its Georgie's owners. Unfortunately this is not our baby boy, as catty-sara has said Georgie is lighter than this and more redder and has more white on each of his paws. Thank you to everyone who thought of Georgie though it is lovely to see that people are still thinking about him. Thanks again everyone. Rachel & Neil xxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks everyone for help.  I've emailed Georgie's Mum and also spoken to Boxer Rescue who will put him on their website.  I've also contacted all local vets, none have had a missing Boxer reported to them. Thank you for further pictures DW. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I don't think that this is Georgie (though hopefully his owners will check).  I think Georgie has more white on his paw and also a white splash on the bridge of his nose.  And I think Georgie is redder than this lad.  Sadly.

I think he loks like Georgie 12407. They are both brindle although in the photo Georgie does look red, but is described as brindle. It's a long shot, Georgie was lost over a year ago up North, but you never know.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just some information for you, we have already been in contact with the caravan park as the dog had been running around the area a few days before we were able to catch him, i think at one point he'd been locked in their toilet block, a few other locals had also been involved with his capture and we also contacted the farm in the area incase he had come from there. Hope this helps.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

That's good Yasa, let's hope we get some news.  I'd left a msg on Boxer Rescue's answerphone today and also spoke to several people I know in the village.  They say a dog was seen running around on the Yoxford road into Westleton, very timid and hard to catch.  No-one seemed to know whose it was.  There is a holiday caravan park in the area so I have left a msg for them to call me in case he escaped from there.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
