- Thank you everyone. I’ve followed up two of the dogs in the links which turned out to be male. Both were taken to a vet and Ruby is microchipped so, if they had been her, we would have been alerted. The dog at East Croydon station doesn’t look like Ruby and is also much bigger. But, we really appreciate your continued assistance.

- Hi Zita you could try copying and pasting the link into your browser, that should work x

- Sadly, Ruby is still missing. We are unable to view FB links posted by others on this thread so, are not able to follow up on sightings. Perhaps DogLost Admin could assist with this?

- PLEASE KEEP LOOKING OUT FOR RUBY ππ»
Coming up to a month missing soon π…she is still ‘out there’ somewhere
The Newhaven report was followed up, but no further info from there so far - DO STILL KEEP EYES PEELED THERE FOR RUBY π
βοΈWe have also had a more recent, and pretty feasible report from the Chailey area too. Not confirmed as Ruby…but a description of a ‘dark gold fluffy dog’ in a wooded area π€
Was that a glimpse of Ruby??
PLEASE BE AWARE AND VIGILANT ALL OVER THAT AREA AND BEYONDππ»βοΈ
Ruby will be dirty…her hair will have grown longer…probable matting - some pics below of her wet after a play date last year may give an indication, but she could look darker, muddier more matted…IF YOU THINK YOU SEE ANYTHING SIMILAR…CALL or MESSAGE US ASAP!! ππ»

- ** LATEST UPDATE - 01/11/22 **
Several sightings of Ruby today around 2pm. Sadly, by the time family reached her, she’d moved on.
We need people to report sightings but not to chase or try to catch her.
When a dog experiences multiple stressful or scary situations within a short time span, they become trigger stacked. As a result, they become overwhelmed. Ruby is on high alert and even her family are unable to get close enough.
We are hugely grateful for all your continued support, so please keep the sightings coming. If you spot her, please call the numbers on the posters. If you can, keep her in sight at a safe distance and, if she leaves the scene, a location and direction travelled would be beneficial. Thank you. X - 2022-11-01 15:14 ADDY

- ** UPDATE - 01/11/2022 **
Thank you to everyone who has kept an eye out for Ruby. We had many sightings on 31/10/2022 and thanks to them was able to locate her numerous times. Sadly, she’s been too nervous (even with her owner) to get hold of so she’s still out there.
Please keep looking ππ»

- Sorry to see that RUBY SIGHTINGS is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (179869)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
