You must be SO relieved. Wonderful news. Do stay on DogLost as a helper in your area. Also, don't forget to take down all those posters!  We'll all take down any we come across. It's so lovely to

Message from Patsy:
So sorry to hear about Lewie. I am working today, so cannot come out to poster. Suggest you leave a pile of posters on the bar of the Greyhound pub at Weston Green  -  locals there were v. helpful when we were looking for another missing dog in the area. Will try to get out postering tomorrow, but let's hope he is home by then. PxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello Paula, regarding dog wardens, not knowing the area well, I spoke to Waverley Borough council, and they put me through to the dog warden, I left a message on the voicemail, but not heard back, also called Thames Ditton police and they spoke to Kingston police, but as of yet nothing.

Photos are both very dark Sally. I havn't been able to get them any better than this. If you have, or can get better ones, they can be swapped over. Have put both your home number and mobile on your poster. Poster can be printed from the page by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above the dog details box, left hand side. Good Luck - I hope he is home soon.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you all so much, and giving me hope, my contact number is 02087734279  or mobile 07731732330.
We laminated some posters and put them around immediate area, I live in Wallington and not a driver so difficult to keep going back where Lewis was lost, as we were staying at my brothers.
Have called local vets, police and local authority.

I've sent details to Epsom Canine Rescue (wasn't sure if you had yet Paula ? so did anyway).  Will contact friend who used to live in Thames Ditton and ask her to send it round all her contacts in the area. I've already sent it on to some of them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lewie is a Staffordshire terrier, and he ran away from Old Cranleighan Rugby Club  Portsmouth Road, Thames Ditton, Surrey KT7 0HB on Easter Sunday, he had no collar on, and is not micro chipped
He has a large black birthmark on the bottom of his tongue, looks like a tattoo
He has a hernier on his belly button
Lewie is dark brown/black with white patches on his throat and chest.
His front bottom teeth are not straight.
He is much loved and missed so much by all the family who are absolutely devasted.
Lewie did not know the area, therefore we do not know if he was picked up by someone or has just run off and lost
Please if anyone has any idea's, we have phoned local vets and put posters up in the area, any comments welcome X
