Thank you so much for everyone that shared and cared - I am so grateful!
We followed the great tips you all gave me and put food by the car park space we had used for the walk and kept coming back to it (from the walk in the woods) and sat in it with low lights and engine running (they often know the sound of 'their'car) and on our last loop before bed at 1am, just as we were feeling really down about it, he appeared! Oh and had eaten all the food too! He is smelly, mucky and knackered but so beautiful to us. ❤️ I hope this is helpful to anyone else that this happens to. Loads of you know what to do and I am very grateful! THANK YOU xxxx
