Fabulous to see Gorgeous Maverick home safe ….I went over to Troopers hill on the coldest night so far to sight him through my thermal scope….he was walking the contour of the steep embarkment desperately wanting to eat chicken ….owner James did all the right guidance I had given but he disappeared into the dense bushes….told James that better chance in daylight when he can see him otherwise we may need to use my trap. So next day he went back up to his other safe place next to the allottments and a frantic call from James to check what to do….he followed all my guidance of sitting low, not giving direct eye contact, talking gently low tone ect ….he held some food out and Maverick came forward ….as soon as he smelt Jame’s hand, Maverick was jumping for joy🐾💙🐾….great team work Doglost and Drone Sar and well done to everyone in the community who helped to track him ( hi Wendy! ) and off course Siobhan

Recent sightings of Maverick still in the area. His owner has left bedding scented items and food out but is needing a trai/wildlife camera to monitor. At the moment there is no way to know if Maverick is returning during the night or if it is him who takes the food.
If anyone local has a camera to spare please call the poster number.
