Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
Have just spoken to Lucy's delighted owners who had just collected her from Fleet Kennels in Bradford ..............60 miles from home ! She was handed in at a police station and Bradford dog warden scanned her and  her owners were called with the good news ..........so well done Bradford Dog warden ! How she got so far away is a mystery and it is unlikey she would have been reunited if she had not been micropchipped. Incidently she has only been microchipped for a few weeks and it turned out to be the best thing her owners could have done ! So other owners take heed ! Welcome home Lucy, no more running off and stay safe from now on xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No reply to email, sent text this afternoon. Owners are using their own posters and postering heavily, all relevant authorities have been contacted. Advised owners to check rescues etc in person and phone DW regularly, as chips are not always picked up as we know. Good luck and hopefully there will be some news of Lucy tomorrow if not sooner x

Owner, sorry to see Lucy is missing.  Thanks for registering her details with DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Can you upload photo/s or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 18038).  You need to poster the area a.s.a.p.  We cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Great she is Chipped, if not already you need to contact the Chip Co and report her missing and check your details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
