- Please also get him a nice shinny tag as he could have been home even sooner. Genuine finders will call you. Mine always have mobile and home nbr + address on. Plus it is the law, I know some people remove them when the dog is in doors but is it really worth it. If you have a fire or burglary and someone lets the dog out it makes it much faster to get them home. Mine are also chipped incase the Tag is removed.

- Brilliant Nero has been FOUND and back home with his mum. Received the following email earlier and have not long finished talking to his very happy mum. POSTERS working their magic once again, welcome home lovely Nero and THANK YOU to his finder for looking after him. Over to the BLUE you go lovely Nero and great you will be getting CHIPPED a.s.a.p. Jan x Hi Jan, brilliant news, I have just been and collected my boy Nero, thanks to your posters (which I stuck everywhere), and your wonderful advice, he is now back home, it turned out he was only half a mile away, a lady took him into her home last night with the intention of ringing the dog warden first thing tomorrow, she saw one of the posters which I had stuck on one of the red dog poop bins and rang me, he has obviously been well cared for in the last 24hours. I can't thank you enough for all of your help, without this I would still be out there hunting for him. P/S Tomorrow Nero will be microchipped. Take Care, I will certainly be making a donation to this brilliant website. Christine.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Had a long chat with owner, Nero ran after a rabbit from their home which is surrounded by woodland. Owner has tried Police, Council DW is not available until after weekend, also contacted Glencoe Kennels who recommended DL. Have given owner some numbers to try. If not found today hopefully there will be good news after the weekend when Council and Vets are open. Photo/s reloaded to bring him closer, headshot added to Image Box 2. - Peacock, sorry to see lovely Nero is missing. Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search. You need to poster the area a.s.a.p. We cannot stress enough the importance of the postering. Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment by selecting Add a comment just above Comments. Good luck and hope he is found soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
