- It's fabulous that Chiquo is home and NO doubt is now being spoiled rotten!!! but there again, why not??!! Welcome back lovely boy - and well done Gee for doing a brilliant job with postering and alerting people. I'm sure the posters were responsible for getting this boy home! Think he might need keeping on an extending lead for a while, just in case. :-)) Helen xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Yeah! I’m over the moon now that Chiqo is home I feel as though I’ve won the lottery. It’s been a real hard month and a half, just wondering if Chiqo’s OK, has he been feed etc.
I’ve taken sometime of work to just hang out with him :-)
Many thanks goes to Dog Lost and everyone associated with this wonderful site. Thanks to the person who found Chiqo and took him into the vets. Thanks to Prospect Veterinary Centre, Sowerby Bridge for taking care of my boy and retuning him back to me.
Thank you so much Helen for ringing me every week to make sure I was OK and all the encouragement.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-05-27 22:50 Yasa

- Spoke to a young lad today whilst postering and he told me that he saw Chiqo with a white male, white female and an asian man. They attempted to sell Chiqo to him for ?10 but he declined to buy him. The young lad didn't know who the white couple were but knew the asian man. He has given me a name and address where this man lives. I have relayed this information to the police who have been knocking on doors where Chiqo went missing also they are briefing all officers everyday. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- This sounds very promising ! Do keep checking with the stray kennels though because if this man does have Chiqo he may dump him when he realises he is 'too hot to handle' . Fingers crossed for you xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Police went round to this mans house today and Chiqo wasn't there
:-( there was a brown staffie and a white American bull dog type dog. However I've had a phone call at 6pm today from a man who found a white staffie in Fartown and has handed it in to Springfield Kennels. Phoning them 1st thing tomorrow. The police have now logged Chiqo as stolen.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-05-06 02:05 c0mpunerd
- Yes been putting up posters all over Huddersfield and handing out leaflets. edit 06/05/09: had a phone call from a man who claims that he knows who has Chiqo and has given me the name of the culprit and area (Crossland Moor, Huddersfield) where Chiqo is. The person that has Chiqo is apparently well known to the police. I have passed this infomation to the police who now have promised to help. Fingers crossed :-) Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- You are doing all the right things to spread the word about Chiqo and hopefully someone will come forward who has information to his whereabouts. Are you still continuing to poster, especially in the area he has been sighted in ? Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This dog doesn't have a brown small spot near his right eye like Chiqo does (our left if we look at Chiqo from the front) This is Chiqo below http://i40.tinypic.com/27xnrlc.jpgLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Fingers crossed the posters will do the trick, they worked when he was missing before. Hopefully the lure of a reward will prompt someone to call and he's chipped which is good.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- bumped due to a possible SIGHTING of Chiqo and also because his tag has been found dumped in the FARTOWN area. His owner said the tag was VERY securely attached and very unlikely to have become detached on its own. Also a large white Staffy was seen on Saturday afternoon being walked by a young Asian or mixed race man in the FARTOWN area. His owners are out searching and postering in this area. They have been to Springfield kennels to check he is not there. Hoping to see Chiqo back home again very soon.x PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- A man phoned today saying that the has found Chiqo's tag on the road at Wasp Nest, Fartown, Huddersfield which is only 10min walk from where he ran off from. Finding the tag indicates that someone has him and is trying to keep him. Chiqo may now have a new collar. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
