Thanks Patsy for the email, so pleased her owners have been found well done.  Perhaps when owner gets her tag done they can add 'CHIP MIGRATED' then if found and scanned it will be known to check all over.  Would be nice to have a pic of her.  Welcome home girl and great to see you in the BLUE.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
e mail from helper Patsy:   Dear Jan/Admin
Thank you so much for putting this on DogLost for me. I am a pleased
to say that this dog is now re-united with her owner. Please can you
move her into the reunited section and put this message on her page
please:
Message from Patsy:
I am pleased to say that this girl has now been re-united with her
owners. Apparently there was a bit of a muddle. Poor owners called the
council out-of-hours number three times the evening she went missing
only to be told there was no such dog on their books, despite dog
warden having registered her as found and in holding kennels. Anyway,
nice local dog warden sorted it out in the morning and all ended well.
Apparently, the dog was microchipped after all  -  chip somewhere up
by her head and missed when scanned the first couple of times. Owners
organising new tag for collar and mending fence  - she had run off
from her garden and is a local dog. Just shows how a collar tag with
correct phone number can save so much time and worry . . . Apparently
she is a pure bred Working Cocker, not a cross (sorry!).
thanks Px

Email in Admin from Patsy DL Helper Found running along Highlands Road, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22, opposite the old blind school (Lavender Court) at about 3.30pm Tuesday 20 April in the Headley direction.  She ran out in front of my car. When I stopped and opened the door she jumped in. No sign of anyone around looking for her. Knocked on nearby front doors.  She is a working type Cocker not Show type.  Now with Dog Warden (details of DW can be obtained by contacting HQ via email admin@doglost.co.uk or telephone).  Found posters have been put up in Highlands Road where she was picked up.
