- Other Info Escaped the back garden on Deepdene Road, Westerton, Glasgow. Rocket was thought to have been a victim to the railway track but as yet no body has been found.

SEARCH -The rail company are assisting*
After several reports on a dog matching Rocket's description/Rocket's body lying at the side of the train tracks yesterday, his body was never found last night 😢 We have been told this disappearance could be due to foxes. Apparently hedges nearby were searched also but this was at 1am in the dark. We are desperately trying to organise a day time search but still waiting to hear back from the rail company. Please please please keep a look out near the area around Anniesland and further afield towards town (clinging on to the small glimmer of hope💔💛🙏🙏🙏) Map above (in Extra Image) shows Direction of travel blue arrow, Yellow is the tunnel from Westerton to Anniesland line, Red dots are the two positions we understand he is in. Drivers said he is just inside the tunnel. Not sure which direction.
We weren't going to repost (and I'm sorry this is distressing, we were expecting to have his body last night) but we desperately feel we need to exhaust all avenues and find out what's happened to our boy. He is microchipped and a small grey/blue whippet (Originally escaped a Garden on Deepdene Road, Westerton at 10.30am this Saturday 10th) . Thank you so much Xx".

"I'm beyond heartbroken to say Rocket was frightened by a train in a tunnel near Anniesland and passed away. I don't what else to say other than thank you for everyone's help. We are so heartbroken 💔 You've all been so kind, I wish so much I didn't have to write this 💔😢😢".
