A lovely message from her owner Diana:
Hello, first of all a huge thank you and sorry for late response, although there are no words to describe how grateful we are for what you have done for us. Viva is with us now and we are on the way back home now, she is fine thankfully. Thank you for the coordination, communication, and all the information and the help you gave us to find viva. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done and we will always remember what you have done for us. Thank you

As we wait for the happy reunion of Viva with her owner I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Amanda Rowe, volunteer with Aberglaslyn MRT and LDNWA and her partner Dave Jones who were out early this morning searching for Viva. A sighting came in via the Doglost website and Amanda and Dave headed to the area and found her. Can I also thank Poppy Thomas for reporting the sighting.
Well done all 3 of you and thank you so much 👏❤ x
From Amanda: Xmas has come early for the owners of this lil one.. After hours of searching today, we successfully found her, she's being checked over by the vet and will be reunited with her owners shortly. Also a massive thank you to a gentleman called Ben, who gave up his beef sarnie! I can't stress enough how important it is to keep dogs on a lead in the mountains.. not only for their own safety, but the safety of livestock & wildlife! Thankfully this story has a happy ending, but sadly many don't!Last edited: 2022-12-20 19:06:05 by Mazzy

Finder Amanda has given Viva to local vets to look after until owner can make journey up from London...due to her having 2 dogs herself at home...best possible place for Viva...of course asked for reunited footage!

Thanks jobadger.
💥URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP 💥 Owner has a 4 month old baby and her husband is ill after searching for Viva yesterday and they have returned to London. Is anyone able to help by printing out posters and putting them up in the area please? We don't want anyone putting themselves at risk on the mountain at this time of year and request that only people who are adequately kitted and familiar with the area assist. Thank you.
jobadger
Thanks Mazzy. Will head over there. The weather is atrocious. I hope she's safe and well and found soon.
I've taken some posters around and knocked on properties along the A4085 Llyn Cwellyn to Rhydd Ddu road. Weather too bad to put up posters today and did not attempt the mountain but saw nothing on the lower slopes to make me think there was anything disturbing livestock - am off again on Wednesday and will go around again - better forecast but hopefully she'll be found before then. It's a lot warmer now than it was. Any idea how far up the Ranger path they got when Viva went off?Last edited: 2022-12-19 17:55:07 by jobadger

Hi. Whereabouts in the Parc was Viva last seen - what was the nearest place? Any idea which direction she headed? Where was your car parked? I'm trying to get some idea of where to start looking/making enquiries
