- Just spoken to one very happy and relieved owner, PHEW!!, Gladys now has a full tummy and is settling down for a little sleep wrapped up in a couple of fleeces.
Pip would like to thank everyone for their help and for steering her in the right direction through her panic.
Well done Pip, you worked so hard for your little girl, all the best x

- Poor little doggie. How awful to think she is out there somewhere and frightened. If someone has taken her - WHY ?? I cannot understand the mentality of someone who would steal a little old blind dog. I hope she is found really soon. She needs to be home now. I wish I lived nearer. I would be out there searching for her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- So sorry to read about poor Gladys. It is very very important that all vets are notified, and have owners contact details, in case Gladys is brought in in poor condition due to her age and health problems, - vets must understand she was stolen, and there is an owner desperately seeking her. I hope she is found safe very soon. Good Luck Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Just spoken to Gladys’s very very upset owner. Posters are already being put out, have advised that 100’s need to go out asap, literally everywhere. Pip has spoken to police who have given a log number for now, police will be in touch again tomorrow. DW along with others will be phoned tomorrow.
Gladys is, apart from blind, also on medication for her kidneys that she must have, she is not a fit dog and needs to be back in the care of her mum asap, if anyone can help with postering please email debbijayne_doglost@hotmail.co.uk and posters will be sent to you.

- As well as searching themselves, the owner needs to poster as much as possible to reach as many people as possible. Someone may have taken her and then realise she is old and dump her. The more people that know she is missing and vunerable the better, someone probably knows something. Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I have been asked to put Gladys on dog lost, Pip rescued her from the pound last year so that she could enjoy whatever time she had left, she is 16, blind and very frail, she was popped in the garden last night with another dog and only left a couple of minutes, when Pip went to bring them in her other dog was cowering and Gladys was missing. Pip and her neighbours have been searching all night, if Gladys has been dumped she will not survive very long on her own, could any helpers in the area pass the word around.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
