UPDATE: Fantastic new to hear roach was found by a walker up at rhosydd quarry in the exact area where owner was advised by us yesterday to leave fresh clothing scenting and lots of food. Clever girl for following your nose goes to show scenting unwashed clothing works wonders. Thank you all again team North Wales for pulling together and trying to get this little baby home.
Stay safe roach your adventure is over now home for plenty of cuddles and plenty of lamb ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

UPDATE from Graham Burton: The Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team, have tonight recovered the body of a dog which seems to be a spaniel type dog that was trapped in driftwood in a fast flowing river. It turns out this poor dog IS NOT Roach, there was no chip no fur the tail was missing along with other body parts and it was badly decomposing. We have no idea who this dog is or who the owner is but THE SEARCH for ROACH, continues.

It looks as if there is sad news about Roach, but I will await confirmation from Graham Burton of Drone SAR before moving this page. Graham has posted: "Dear group we have received some sad news that its possible Roach, has fallen in a swollen river and become tangled up in driftwood. I have seen an image of what looks very much like Roach, and we are in communication with a Mountain Rescue team to go and recover her body. Our hearts and thoughts are with Natalia, and her family at this heartbreaking time."

At last, a sighting! From owner: Hi everyone, some good news finally! A large dog was spotted north of where we lost her, the description of looks and behaviour checks out as well - she seems to be frightened and might run away when called.

For latest updates on the search please look at Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK. If there is anyone within reach of Blaenau Ffestiniog who can put up posters, please make contact. It's not an easy area to search as it is all old spoil heaps which look much the same. Too windy to get a drone up at present.
