- Where Lost On fells near Ambleside. She bolted westerly from the path between Low Pike and High Pike towards Fairfield. Perhaps to the Ryland Valley. Has a harness on.

- Where Found 01.01.23 Lola the brown one was found on the other side of Rydal Beck from Low Pike. As you look up beck from Rydal Hall it is the left side. Just above where the trees end and fells begin. It is high

“ Please share. A friend and I were walking behind Pirelli factory in Carlisle this morning and seen a small black dog running around yelping and crying. No signs of any owner. We tried to get close to it but it was too fast and scared. If anyone is down there please keep an eye out for it and try and catch it. Im just too slow to catch it. FURTHER UPDATE
We took Lola back up when warmed up, to see if she would lead us to Juno. Unfortunately despite searching till dark, she was not found. We resume searching tomorrow. We are now looking in 2 areas. The fells and woods either side of Rydal Beck and a sighting of a lone black spaniel running along the river heading south from Hawes bridge yesterday. Both areas already searched but she will be hiding, cold and frightened. If anyone wants to be part of a more coordinated search, please can you DM with a mobile number as I am setting up a WhatsApp group for Juno’s search tomorrow.

LOLA FOUND, JUNO STILL MISSING
am absolutely gutted to be posting this. Both our spaniels Lola and Juno went missing on the Fells above Ambleside in the lakes on the 29/12/22 when Ian was walking with friends. They have been searched for from sunrise to sunset since with no sightings. I have not posted as have been concentrating on help via sites in the lakes. Awareness is huge there. Local dog trappers involved, all usual lost dog advice followed, mountain rescue aware, drones involved, local media campaign, registered with lostdogs.co.uk, local fell running, walking and biking groups all aware and helping. Area well postered and leafleted. No definate sighting, possibly a black spaniel yesterday at Hawes Bridge heading south from Kendal, so it’s time to spread the net wider. We are concentrating our searching around the area they went missing. See map. They have not been back to where they bolted as food and bedding/clothes undisturbed. We think due to weather they will be lower in the valley for shelter. Both are tagged and chipped. Please share. Any help appreciated.
