Thanks DebbiJayne, I spoke to owner last night but had probs with my laptop so was unable to post. Barney was in the garden with their other two poodles, but when owner returned the gate was open and Barney was gone. They were notified that a poodle had been seen dodging traffic and a bus but nothing has been heard since. Owner has registered with the dog warden, registered him with the police and obtained a crime reference number , and contacted the cleansing department  -but they dont have a log  of similar dogs recently.( sadly they admitted they dont ALWAYS have a log  of dogs picked up by them ) !!:-(    She has placed an ad in  the Yorkshire Post . Springfield Kennels have been contacted  and Mount Pleasant number given by the Leeds dog warden.  I have given the contact details for Oakenshaw kennels and suggested they also register Barney with Bradford dog warden.   I passed on the  contact no for Fleet Kennels too.  Stressed the importance of getting posters up in the area, dog walking areas , around the neighbourhood, and particularly the local pubs .  Gave my no. if owner could send photo from her mobile to me which we could use to get the posters sorted. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
