How sad. I looked in Aspull today, in shop windows. There don't seem to be any lost posters anywhere :( surely someone must be looking for their dog... Will keep my ear out...

Is there a poster up? Walk often in the area and have never met this dog out walking. Have not seen any "found" posters either and would be happy to put a few up at key points if a poster is available.

Mobile phone pic now received an uploaded, thanks to her carer for getting it to us so quickly and looking after her, she is so lucky to have found you and her finder.  Please ensure you report her to the DW (Wigan 01942 703401) and the details are logged.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Finder found her wandering near their home, she was very thin and has an injured back leg.  Finder has looked after her for a week and tendered to her leg, she is a lovely friendly dog and gets on with other dogs and cats.  Someone else is looking after her now and will be taking her to vet tomorrow to get scanned and will send us a photo a.s.a.p. Finder did try to contact DW but has had problems getting them to go out and check her for a chip etc, they did not want to see her go to a kennels but could not keep her any longer due to having 3 dogs and cats.  Adverts have been put out and also on other sites but no-one has made any contact with them.  This lovely girl could be from out of the area.   Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
