Angela has asked me to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who got involved in one way and another to help her get her dogs back.
The thieves had released the dogs, removed collars and tags and they were found wandering together on a nearby estate.  A lady, dog breeder, saw them and took them in and phone the number she had seen on a poster.

Hi all, sorry I am new to this and didn't realise you could update with comments - here is an update for Chester and Drift: Still no sightings of either van or dogs, police have it nationwide so if the van or dogs are spotted either in town or motorways they will call. Visited kennels where stray dogs are taken nothing so far, dog wardens alerted, rescue centres alerted, ad in T&A today Thurs 30th, hopefully Calendar News to do an interview this week. Thanks to everyone its cross posted on most sites now Posters put up more to do, posters emailed out, vets visited certainly locally probably more to do yet,   When I have more info now I know how to use this forum I will post Angela  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posted onto Bradford freecycle with links to the doglost pages for the photos. Have the police checked the many traffic cameras that there are around Bradford? (These are used for tracking criminals travelling through Bradford, so could be very useful).Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have put it on twitter with a request for it to be re-tweeted.  It will also feed onto our facebook, myspace, website, blog and squidoo pages, again, hopefully people will forward.

Have also been told that my contact at Grattan will display posters tomorrow.

Seen it on Bradford Freecycle tonight too, so hopefully word will be getting out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As it may be the van that was targetted and not the dogs , the dogs may well be "dropped off" so is imperative that as many dog wardens as possible  in the adjoining areas to Bradford be alerted and posters sent to them.   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

can someone get these two on facebook and twitter cross posted to dogpages xx this was obviously a planned theft......is there any chance of cctv footage from previous weeks??...... the man who did this could be spotted checking everything out. also...... did your van have petrol in...... if not then cctv at petrol stations around the area will show the B*****D who did this and possibly which direction he went off in.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Anyone got contacts in any of these major companies in Bradford - esp contacts at 'management level' useful:
Ciba (v close to area)
Abbey Bank
Grattan (Otto)
Bradford Council
Morrisons
Any others?
Get people involved Poster all company noticeboards. Email lists, flyers at reception desks/staff entrances.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have posted info about both dogs to Bradford freecycle so hopefully the moderators will allow it. I'm not a member of gumtree, but it is worth someone posting on there in the lost and pet sections if possible.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Be aware of the van in which they were stolen - white Vauxhall Vivaro with rg letters PAW...T. Those letters are easy to remember so if you spot it, get on to the police immediately!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have as below added to Valgrays website & ObedienceUK website, have emailed to others asking them to include on their websites, have contacted Dogsblog, Dog Training Weekly, Agilitynet, Agilityeye, posted to several vets asking them to crosspost, have posted on several yahoogroup forums and have asked my good friend Sandra to fax out poster to vets in the missing dogs area.  Hope this all helps.  I have asked all I have contacted to at least crosspost the information (I emailed them info as shown on our website with links to here).
