Angela has asked me to say a massive thank you  to everyone
who was involved in helping her get her dogs back.
She is overwhelmed by the kindness shown by everyone.
The thieves had released the dogs from the van and removed their collars and tags, and the dogs were found wandering together on a nearby estate.  A lady, a dog breeder, saw them wandering, took them in and phoned the number she’d seen on a poster.
The dogs were thirsty and hungry but are back to their mischievous selves this evening.

Hi all, I have been asked by another doggie friend of mine to post the following additional information about these 2 lovely dogs which may help.  The message originated from the owner . Stolen Van is White Vauxhall Vivaro, Reg letter "PAW" Plus dogs inside
Drift is a short coated red and white Collie (WSD), quite a big collie. Chester is an old dog, black with lots of grey hairs on the muzzle and chest -- he’s medium sized, about 17" to the withers and whippet-y build’
It happened outside Bierley Community Centre, Bierley, Bradford at 10.20pm Tuesday 28th, I have been up all night searching for them, I or the police haven’t a clue where the van is or where my boys are, I am absolutely destraught as I write this - its now 03.56am Wed 29th.

Don't forget to contact the area Neighbourhood Watch group. They  are separate  from the Police . They may not issue dogs details to members on Ringmaster but  can circulate stolen van details.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have posted onto Bradford freecycle with links to the doglost pages for the photos. Maybe someone could post onto the Wakefield one as it covers areas near Bierley (I'm not a member so can't post on it).Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have put it on twitter with a request for it to be re-tweeted.  It will also feed onto our facebook, myspace, website, blog and squidoo pages, again hopefully people will forward.
Have also been told that my contact at Grattan will display posters tomorrow.
Seen it on Bradford Freecycle tonight too, so hopefully word will be getting out.

Be aware of the van in which they were stolen - white Vauxhall Vivaro with reg letters PAW...T. Those letters are easy to remember so if you spot it, get on to the police immediately!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have as below added to Valgrays website & ObedienceUK website, have emailed to others asking them to include on their websites, have contacted Dogsblog, Dog Training Weekly, Agilitynet, Agilityeye, posted to several vets asking them to crosspost, have posted on several yahoogroup forums and have asked my good friend Sandra to fax out poster to vets in the missing dogs area.  Hope this all helps.  I have asked all I have contacted to at least crosspost the information (I emailed them info as shown on our website with links to here).
