Absolutely fantastic news. No thanks to the idiotic do gooders who probably traumatised her when she was already scared.

This beautiful little 10 month old klee kai managed to back out of her harness yesterday afternoon at Blackheath SE3.
She travelled a massive amount in a short period of time finally being spotted on Winns Common Plumstead SE18 yesterday evening. 11/01/23
Clare Elsey Our area coordinator went out immediately and covered good ground but despite a few sightings was unable to find her.
First light this morning clare received a confirmed sighting telling us she was still in the area planning her next move, which gave Clare the opportunity to locate her and contain her on 3 sides to build trust that was until well meaning members of the public began shouting and whistling at her.
Despite Clares pleas they continued to chase her and one even attempted to grab her resulting in her bolting and running across 2 very busy roads.
This could easily have killed her!
We knew she felt hunted and was now re adrenalised and had no hope of her coming to us and having spoken to a specialist trapper We made the decision to leave the area to allow her to calm down and start to poster the area.
While we were standing talking to the owner’s friend about the possible next steps she came in to Clare’s eye line.
We fell silent and looked to the floor and she bravely wandered over to my clients dog that I was walking to say hello, as We were about to drop to the floor she went to his friend and he was able to get a lead safely on her.
Phew! Finlay is the hero of the hour 🐕‍🦺
We’ve checked her harness and its fitted correctly so hopefully this was a one off.
Thank you to everyone who helped and sent sightings and got us involved.
