- Interesting that you mention DPD...I know it is a long time ago ( if 2022 correct?) But do you remember anything be delivered to you around that time? or if this year maybe your neighbours remember deliveries...Most drivers leave van doors open when they are dropping off and you know how curious cats can be...If this year ( I still put 2022 down instead of 2023) They will have records of next stop offs...could be you are focusing in wrong area and of course Oscar will not know where he is.

- Another thing to do is check if your chip is registered ( !/3rd are not) you can do this FOC by using our bannerline link above.
If chipped ring your chip company to ask if anyone has enquired...they have to tick when an enquiry...sadly not all inform owners as they are expecting finders to contact you. - 2023-01-24 08:48 Lynette
- Thank you for the extra and very useful tips. I did give a poster to our local postie but will ask him to distribute in depot. Also have given out to DPD drivers doing the rounds. I shall approach council's health and care partnership.

- May I suggest you get a poster up in the Royal mail sorting depot canteen..As posties do the same route everyday and soon get to know cats on their routes...Also Get a poster to your local council carers section as could be with an elderley person who is not on SM and not leaving their house...the carers go out daily to these people and may have noticed a new cat appearing.

- Thank you for all the advice and for sharing. Just to make you aware, I was the victim of a scam on Wednesday. A guy with a Manchester accent called me up to say that he had stolen Oscar and wanted £500. If I didn't transfer the money over, I wouldn't see Oscar again. I got totally sucked in and have lost £500. Incident has been reported to Police Scotland and to my bank. Missing Pets GB advised me to register Oscar with you. His microchip status was changed to stolen last April as even Cats Protection Officer believe he's been stolen. I have reported the scam via email to scammer.doglost@gmail.com this evening.

- Sorry to see that OSCAR CAT is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
