I have just spoken to the owner - they are already postering, and are in touch with the dog warden.  I have suggested they notify rescue centres across a wide area, and have logged the details myself this morning at Bath Cats and Dogs Home. They will also get in touch with the police to make them aware - the dog warden thinks given the time missing, there is the possibility of theft, so important to make this girl too hot to handle!
