- FB: OUR ISLA IS STILL MISSING π
Please keep posting and circulating photos of Isla to make sure her face is not forgotten.
Please carry on looking for our baby π
It is soon going to be 2 months since she disappeared into thin air on 30th of January in Vernham Dean.
I bred her myself so we are the only family she's had and known since she was born. It's been painful thinking where she may be, hoping she's alright and trying to think what to do next π
It is going to be Isla's birthday on 30th of March and I'd hoped we would get to spend it together but she's still not backπ
Someone must know something!
Please, if you found Isla or know someone who has, please make contact, no further action will be taken, no questions asked. We're totally heartbroken and just want our baby back home with us, where she belongsπ I can't even imagine how much she'll be missing us by now.
I beg, do the right thing and let our Isla come back home to us πππ - 2023-03-24 15:26 Karolina
- I followed that up, unfortunately it's not our Isla, it's a Lakeland terrier. Thank you tho.

NAWT Berkshire (Trindledown Farm, Great Shefford) have a small unchipped terrier that has recently arrived as we saw it there on Sunday. I don’t think it is this one, and I’m afraid we didn’t pay it too much attention, but it might be worth a call to them just in case? - 2023-02-06 20:34 Solstice Missing Dogs
- Thank you Sharon we are already aware of that dog and we don’t believe it to be her but the owner has emailed them.

- We have added ISLA On behalf of her owner who we have been assisting. Up until today we have kept the circulation local with game keeper and owners friends assisting. The estate has been covered with thermal imaging, lamping, and searches near holes ( but there are masses). There is a chance she has been picked up which we cannot exclude but it is felt she could be in the tunnels we were searching by today. She is a working dog and used to the Estste and terrain and lives within a mile of the location.
I personally know the Andover and the Basingstoke & Dean DW which have both been contacted. Wilts always list their dogs on Pets Located so not such of a concern.
Her microchip company have been spoken to by the owner, it is a well known data base.
If anyone has ever used sonar radar in searching for a dog we would be keen to know how successful it was.
We have already had 93 shares in less than an hour on our page which you can also share from.

- Sorry to see that ISLA is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (182089)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
