- well done to the 3 org working together - K9 UPDATE 20.02.23 - When 3 rescue organisations work together, all with the same aim, to reunite a missing dog, its wonderful to witness.
Yesterday, K9 received a call from a concerned member of the public saying they could see a dog matching that of Regina. She was stuck in a wooded area, 7ft metal spike fence to her front and an open railway & tram track behind her.
Yesterday LOST DOG Capture Team CIC attended and were able to confirm it was Regina, they set up a food/water station and had a wander around looking for possible entrances/exits but no luck. So they left for the night.
Today LOST DOG Capture Team CIC returned and with the help of The Animal House Rescue with some difficulty they were able to climb over the fencing and lift an extremely large trap over too. It wasnt long before Regina headed straight into the trap. Now the question is, how do you lift such a large breed dog and trap back over? After a bit of stressing, they found a way and Regina was finally free of the wooded area and on her way home.
So a MASSIVE thank you for all your efforts today from us all at K9!
Both organisation are voluntary and non profit, so if anyone would like to make a donation please do so on the relevant pages. - 2023-02-11 23:23 Louise
