Sorry theres no news yet on poor Angus. Chin up Jo, terriers are such hardy, determined dogs, he will turn up. We are all still looking.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you to everyone asking about Angus ? he is still on the missing list!! Despite having had a really good article written about him in the local paper, the Gazette & Herald, and a number of people putting him on local websites, also posters have been sent out and put up in the area, and of course everybody on the dog lost site looking out for him, we haven?t heard anything. A number of people have phone to report sightings which we have followed up, but unfortunately each time the little dog in question has not been Angus. Jo is still very distraught but is very grateful for everybody?s support Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Don't give up hope, lots of posters. Lost, with a photo in the local newspaper. Our Jack was returned after 5 weeks. He became so well known in the area. He had to be returned. Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any news on Angus yet? Can I help at all,I know I am a bit far away but it all helps. Have you put up posters in all the supermarkets, pet shops, vets, kennels and local councils? The more people that see the photo the better. Also don't rely on the police too much, you need to go to the stations and insist that the details are put in the lost dog book with a photo. You must also get a report number and a crime number. If I can help at all you can phone me on 01795 535660 or look on my site for Alfie stolen yorkshire terrier 19th May. All the very best JustineLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any feedback from the newspapers? - the local Gazette & Herald is out on Thurs (16th), and can/will the Swindon (Advertiser), Hungerford / Newbury / Salisbury papers help? Considering - 1) the owners are very well known locally, 2) the posters went up very quickly in the village itself, and 3) the dog would have had to walk a long way un-noticed from the middle of Pewsey (e.g. to find a rabbit-hole to get stuck in) ... it all suggests opportunist theft, against which as many eyes and ears are needed as possible and probably further afield. And if it is theft what is the police view? It isn't the first in this area as a spaniel was taken froma garage forecourt at one of the Collingbournes a year or so ago. I have spoken with the owner and passed on details, a Jack Russell was picked up on the M4 junction 15 (near Swindon) on Saturday. The article in the paper claims he's about 18 months, however its worth a try. The number to ring is 01793 528111Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Alerted yesterday by posters the owners placed in several local pubs and clubs; have since spread the word on various Pewsey-based mailing lists and other Wilts / Bristol forums linking back to this site. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
