- Welcome home Bessie and Jed and a huge thank you and well done to the caring DL Helper who came along at the right time. You have every right to be thrilled and should give yourself a big pat on the back and celebrate your good work with a nice Devon cream tea (well I would, if I was you)!!! I hope that this very precious boy and girl both had chips, collars and ID tags as, as we all know, you can't be too careful these days...

- Confirmed they are both safely home. Lady parked her car across the 2 lanes of the road, put hazzard lights on and knocked at nearest house to get help with catching them....by sheer coincidence the house she chose to knock on was the owners sons! They got the one in the back of his car but had to enlist the owner to help them catch Bessie!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- e mail from doglost helper: Hi I think these are almost certainly the two dogs I helped pick up on the Honiton to Cullompton road at Hembury Fort at about 8pm last night. It is a very dangerous spot so I am thrilled they were ok especially as they were two oldies!. The man I asked to come and help said he knew whose they were so hopefully you will be told they are reunited today.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
