Thanks goodness that these 2 oldies are back home safe and sound, thanks to the prompt action of one of our 'very own' DL Helpers! Whoever, you are, you are quite right to feel chuffed - WELL DONE! What luck that the right person came along at the right time.

Confirmed they are both safely home.  Lady parked her car across the 2 lanes of the road, put hazzard lights on and knocked at nearest house to get help with catching them....by sheer coincidence the house she chose to knock on was the owners sons!   They got the one in the back of his car but had to enlist the owner to help them catch Bessie!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Message from helper:   Hi I think these are almost certainly the two dogs I helped pick up on the Honiton to Cullompton road at Hembury Fort at about 8pm last night. It is a very dangerous spot so I am thrilled they were ok especially as they were two oldies!. The man I asked to come and help said he knew whose they were so hopefully you will be told they are reunited today.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
