I still look for Harvey every where i go especially when i'm over in chesham, don't lose hope there are plenty of dogs that have returned after a very long time away

I have been in contact with Harveys owners he is still missing and still very much missed by his family - I will put him forward to CMW again

Thanks again for support and help.  Still no sightings whatsoever so he must have been taken well out of the area. He is still sadly missed and we think of him all the time. I hope whoever has him is looking after him, walking and feeding him well.

Steven please don't loose hope. Harvey has been put forward for an advert in The Countryman's Weekly magazine. I've taken his details today and will let you know the day he's featured. It will be in about two and a half weeks time.

Really sad we have not had a single call, so he has been taken and spirited away. I can't believe he is in the local area as he would have been seen and we have covered quite a decent area.  Just got to keep hoping now . . . .

Hi Steven, I live in Pednor, and have been so impressed with all the posters and publicity I have seen locally, and thought I would log in to see if there has been any news, but sadly not, I just wanted to let you know that I walk my dogs around the local area every day and have been keeping my eyes peeled.  If I can do anything more for you please let me know.

thanks jacks, we keep postering further and wider - but apart from the sighting the week after he went we have heard nothing. Think our luck will depend on how far he has been moved out of the area.

Potential sighting in Pednor on the 14th May about 3 miles from where he was last seen - 1 week after he went missing  - following up to see how accurate / true this is.

i will keep my fingers crossed for you i have been coming into chesham each day to feed horses and llamas while the owners are away and i can't stop looking for him i don't know chesham that well i go to the lee at chesham chartridge don't know if this is near where he went missing but there are a lot of open fields and wooded areas there so i am always looking around for him and just willing him to just appear from nowhere good luck please let me know if i can help anymore in anyway

Thank you jacks (again) We are having an event this weekend where a number of Hamiltons with their owners(!) are coming to Chesham to canvass the surrounding towns with flyers and posters to raise awareness and get it in the media again. We will also walk around the area he went missing and see if the hounds can pick up any scent.  Fingers crossed!

there is also a fair set up in gadebridge park in hemel i will pop down there tomorrow and have a look around i know it's a bit out of the area but they have come from somewhere and it's worth a try

I have found out the name of the fair and the owners. We will go to to where they are setting up this weekend and also where their base is in Watford.  We have been to other travellers camps nearby and offered a reward for his safe return. Thanks to Jacks for your offer of help, it is much appreciated. I remain convinced he is safe and well, but someone has him - as we have exhausted all other avenues. Publicity is now the best option.

Maybe try your local council. They must have had to have permission to set the fair up. They could possibly give you the name of the fair.

Have just been advised by a work colleague that a fair was at Gt Missenden the week Harvey went missing - Anyone any ideas how we can find out where the fair is now??? Could be that Harv went visiting and was taken in by someone associated with the fair???

The breeder we got Harvey from had already been in touch with John and he will publish something for us.  He has also kindly agreed to distribute a picture / posters to his contacts.

Sadly no, we have had no sightings - other than the two of the day he went missing.  It means he is probably alive but taken by someone.  The Bucks Free Press will run an article on him next week as well, posters are being spread wider and wider, and virally on facebook.  I do a scent trail twice a day in the area he went missing just in case, but it feels a little fruitless.

We have put some posters in Missenden now, at the train station, newsagents and Somerfield but will do more.  Also started laying scent trails in the triangle between Ballinger, South Heath and where he was lost.  It is increasingly likely given no sightings he has been stolen I fear. Posters now up as far west as kennels in Oxfordshire, Ashridge, Berkhamsted and Tring. Also at various stables in these areas. I work at the council offices in Amersham. Many of my colleagues travel along the A413 every day to the council offices in Aylesbury. Will display some posters at work and ask them to keep a look out. Definetley notify Green Meadows kennels as he'll be taken there if picked up by police.

OK - So he's headed towards Missenden. - The bad news is the A413! Did you get to poster Missenden? Do you need help there tonight? I would update Police & DW in case someone has reported 'A N Other' breed found - as it's unlikely he'll be recognised as a Hamiltonstovare. At least another sighting is positive and you have an idea of the direction of travel - Will have mobile on if you need me and will e-mail it to you JIC. Good Luck! Pxx

Was also seen on Wednesday in South Heath about 2 - 3 miles west of the previous sighting. Maybe heading towards Great Missenden. Worryingly no sightings since though.

Owners extremely active and following up all advice, have been postering and canvassing extensively - I have postered - Whiteleaf Hill, Brush Hill, Pulpit Hill, The Red Lion at Whiteleaf and The Plough at Cadsden - all frequented by large numbers of walkers and within a five or six mile radius of where he went missing. Police have also been notified.

I'm at work at the moment so don't have any phone numbers with me, but would suggest you try Chiltern Dog Rescue and also Green Meadows kennels in the Chalfonts (latter used by police for dogs picked up in Amersham and surrounding area).

Steven sorry to see your lovely Harvey is missing.  Thanks for registering his details with DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded photo/s this really helps, have reloaded to bring him closer.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  If not done already contact the Chip Co and report him missing and check your contact details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is  found soon.  Jan x
