WELCOME HOME OSCAR!  So glad you are now safe and sound and you will get such a wonderful welcome I know.  Thank you for calling so quickly, Oscar's Mummy, to tell me.  This is how I understand the tale - Oscar was seen by a taxi driver in Sudbury eating chicken and chips in the road or car park, and to cut a long story short he was taken in by a lady who looked after him. Ipswich Environmental Health had been contacted & got in touch with owner after she had left details with them and/or police.  When she called me his carer was on her way to his home with him.  Oscar's Mum wants to thank Doglost for all the help she received and she will be giving him a microchip for a prezzie now.  Thanks go too to taxi driver, Ipswich Dog Warden dept, Ipswich Police and Oscar's temporary carer.  Stay safe now little boy, love to you all.  xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have sent email with picture of a found dog that could be Oscar. It's a long way off but he could have been taken out of the area. http://www.breckland.gov.uk/brecklandcouncil/environment/environmentalhealth/animalwelfare/strayanimals/stray_dog_pictures.htmLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Twinstead is on the borders of Essex/Suffolk so I'm emailing Suffolk nos. and info in case Ashmark has not done so.  I would urge you or owner to keep calling West End Kennels, Buxhall 01449 737641 and to go along to check regularly as I believe they could cover that area for lost dogs taken in and as Oscar is a cross they would need checking carefully especially as dogs can be rehomed after 7 days.  I will email them but they are busy and may not check. See-Saw Rescue is at Leavenheath 01787 210888 (nearby)and may be able to help although she is not the local Pound.  I do hope Ozzie is home very soon.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
