From Vicki…
SIGHTING UPDATE

On Sunday 23rd July 12.45pm @ Forncett St Peter, Norfolk,

A medium size black and white dog was seen walking in the middle of a country lane in Forncett St Peter. The dog then went through a gap in the hedge by a public foothpath.
The dog was described as looking tired, dishevelled and thin and lost looking.

Right Angels despite having had 2 drones up including the thermal one we found nothing. So he could well have moved on in any direction or be hiding out somewhere and only coming out at certain times of the day. If it is him im really worried hes hiding from people as will be in survial mode and scared stiff.... hes a big scardy cat at the best of times so here is what I need you all to do please angels Help find DIGBY . His appearance could be very different if he has been out for 3 months as his hair will be longer.

Please could everyone in the surrounding villages to Forncett St Peter be on high alert for me.

If anyone gets a sighting please follow the following checklist

1) GET A PHOTO

2) What 3 words

3) Drop pin on a map

4) Do NOT put on Facebook

5) Do Not Call his Name, whistle or chase

6) Leave food at a distance and lower yourself to the ground, say nothing and encourage him silently with food.

7)Try to keep him in sight from a distance

๐Ÿ˜Ž LET HIM COME TO YOU

9) Call VICKI IMMEDATELY 07746550956 or Private MESSAGE on his page

10) Keep being the angels that you are and help me get my boy home as I cant do this alone.........

From Digby’s owner..
It’s coming up to 5 weeks ago that Digby was spooked and bolted from his home.

Please, someone must know something, saw something, even the smallest detail you didn’t think much of at the time.

Has a dog ran in front of your car, do you have a dash cam ?

Has he trotted passed your house, do you have a ring door bell ?

Has he been sniffing around looking for food, do you have cctv ?

If you have cctv, ring door bells, dash cams. I’m not sure how long they store images for but please get in touch and we can let you know if you are in the right area for sightings and give you rough days and times to check. Please if you can spare some time scroll through the footage and see if you notice anything it doesn’t have to be crystal clear but it may just help us expand our efforts and Help find DIGBY .

Whilst on walks or anywhere please stop and TAKE 5, stay quiet look around, you may just catch a glimpse but it could be enough to help bring him home. Early morning and late afternoon to dusk is the best time, be the first to get the photo we all need.

Look out for evidence of fresh kill, animal fur in faeces, vegetation having been flattened or damaged, bins knocked over or contents pulled out.

Thank you all ๐Ÿ˜‡ Digby’s Angels

I have spoken to the owner and she will be adding a post to his Facebook page just to remind people on what to do.

I'm nowhere near to help look for Digby, but seeing on the Facebook page that people are being asked to go out and search... is someone advising on 'how' to search, ie to make sure that the dog isn't frightened further etc? Sorry if it's being publicised to those searching, but I couldn't see mention of it and worry lots of people will be going around calling him x

Help find DIGBY posted

Morning everyone ,
I’m absolutely heartbroken ๐Ÿ’” it’s been one week today, I took myself out last night when no one was about. It gave me a lot of time to reflect on how he would be and what he would do…..he is a timid dog and don’t think he will come out and be curled up in survival mode somewhere ……was also walking the roads and looking to check the ditches along the road sides.
Please can people look in these places and tonight all check your back gardens with a torch and be very quiet and reassuring.
I’ve posted a video (click on the link to view) of how I would approach and talk to him, shouting and whistling isn’t going to do it I don’t think as this stage….
Night time and early morning looking is needed please especially to all my local residents in Banham ๐Ÿ™
Can everyone at some point throughout the night check their gardens and just have a look about to see if he’s hidden up on your property.
He might be hungry and only be coming out at night and be close…..
In the meantime I am in contact with the police again this morning to report him as stolen, I’m frantically searching and just need an ending and to know what’s happened to my dear old boy Diggers…..

Also we need to hit every town in Norfolk and beyond with posters in the most prominent places and spread the word where’ve you can.

Put a poster in the back of your car please ๐Ÿ™ it all helps and it’s amazing how famous Digby has become over the last week.

You are all amazing and I’ve never experienced such kindness from so many strangers .
I broke down in Keninghall stores last night as was hungry and tired and the lovely lady came out from the counter to hug me as I let it all out ๐Ÿ˜…
Steve at Barkers printers in Attlebourough has been fantastic with donating us some fantastic leaflets and posters, it’s so appreciated ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™
Just a couple of examples of pure acts of kindness, too many to mention you all but so grateful to you all xxx

Hey everyone it’s Vik here for a quick update…..
I’m currently trying to keep up with the huge messages of support and kind offers of help. Please forgive me if I don’t acknowledge you, but believe me you are noticed. You have overwhelmed me with so many acts of pure kindness and you have no idea how much it means. And still the love keeps pouring in. It brings the words BE KIND to a whole new level, it’s truly unbelievable and I’ve never experienced anything like it or expected such a great response from you all.
Still no definite leads and I’m out investigating various possibilities.
Tomorrow I’ll be making a plan of action for the weekend as I know so many of you want to help .
I’ve been busy forming a โค๏ธโค๏ธTEAM DIGBY ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™to help me with the enormity of what I am currently facing. It has taken over my life 24/7 and I can’t stop till we get our beautiful boy Digs back home where he belongs.

If you can help me I need people to print and laminate posters. Hit the villages, town or city that you live in and post them in responsible places. Continue to spread the word far across social media. We need Digbys face everywhere, stop dog walkers, runners, people or go door to door with the poster. Please spread the word.….๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•
He has to be somewhere. It’s the unknown that is truly breaking me, my daughter Ellie and son Tom. He is likely to be hiding in undergrowth and in survival mode and will be harder to find so please check your garages, outbuildings, look in hedgerows, undergrowth etc.
Also if anyone can print and laminate posters and help put them up in your area to spread the word this would be greatly appreciated….
I can’t do this without the amazing support of you all, you have no idea how much it means….
Thank you from the bottom of my heart โค๏ธ

BANHAM AND BEYOND WE ARE OVERWHELMED ๐Ÿฅฐ
Thank you to everyone who has messaged, supported, suggested, shared, walked around the surrounding areas, put up posters, knocked on doors, searched with drones. The list is endless. But you guys are tirelessly trying to get Digby home and we can’t thank you enough.
Keep looking out on walks, in hedgerows, outbuildings, ditches etc … he has to be out there somewhere ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’œ
