- Must be very frustrating for you. Have you spoken to any of the residents in the home? Also try a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper? Or a radio appeal?

- Hi Trudie, Yes they have cctv footage in the carpark that facaes my garden fence this would literally have all my answers on.. however when speaking to them they claim the cctv foo tage doesnt work... Im not allowed access to their visitor book and the police arent interested in helping either... So i am extremely frustrated and heartbroken that in this country theives can just get away with anything and nothing happen to them and yet the owners are left heartbroken without their furbaby

- Have you asked the person in charge of the home if they can look it up for you? Or is there CCTV in the car park, which may show something on that day. At least then you would know x

- I think thats whats happened as i live opposite a care home and my garden fence faces their carpark and he always sits in garden fence and then for him to dissapear is very strange the only way id find out is if the care home would allow me to see their visit book on who visited the care home that day and that would help me find out the people who would have likley parked up and see him and stole him but i know they wont give just that information it infuriates me how someone could do that. I have a cat who roams and she wears a pet tag and a gps collar from tractive and this cat never roamed and he was my favourite and only ever stayed in garden or garden fence so i feel lost that im never going to get him back

- Sorry you found Colin Butcher, and co so rude. I was in contact with someone last year (Scotland) who said the Colin was very helpful via the phone. He charged her £95. Sometimes a person takes a fancy to someone`s cat, and tries to hide it in their house. It has happened on this site, and also to a relative of mine, so stay vigilant. Have you thought of posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper? Albeit not too expensive. Paws, and fingers xd.

- Also its looking like hes been stolen and despite the fact hes chipped to me i dont actually know whos stolen him so i cant get him back but his chip number was searched by someone on April 6th at 11:57am ive asked the police to track this and they refuse to which makes me very angry.

- Thanks Trudie,
However I sadly cannot recommend pet detectives i contacted them when he first went missing they are way overpriced at around 2 grand and also very rude. I missed their call twice as both times they called was at a time i was working when I went to respond back to them they were extremely rude saying i was wasting their time and got nasty with me and blocked me without me even having chance to respond which in my eyes just sounds like they all about the money rather than helping people find their pets however i appreciate the help xx - 2023-05-09 20:14 TrudielovesMax!
- Hi Katrina
You could contact Colin Butcher who lives in Surrey (Ex police detective) but now works as a Pet Detective. He has a dog who has been trained to find lost, and missing cats. However as you live miles away, I think he is willing to give advice over the phone. A private company, but for those on low incomes reduces his fees/ Hius details email info@thepetdetectives.com Phone 01403 453 653. Maybe worth a try. Keep me posted. Paws xd. - 2023-04-23 18:35 Katrina
- Hi Trudie, I have a trap of my own and we do have a few stray cats visit us but that was never an issue before. I do believe he has been stolen or killed however possibly likely stolen. I set a trap out every night and theres cats that come every morning between 5-5:30am but none are him sadly.

- Is there a Mr Big in the area? (Dominant cat) As sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return, until they think it`s "Safe" enough to do so. If there has been any sightings, you could maybe borrow a cat trap from an Animal Rescue Centre or Cat Protection; maybe for a small donation. Paws, and fingers xd.

- Please follow all the advice on GINGER CAT`S post. Page no. 183105. Just because you don`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. The key to finding a cat is scent; theirs, and their ownwers. Paws xd.
