Has owner come to the place where she is? She may follow owner's scent, especially if a food trail is left. My experience with daxies on the run is that they will follow trail left by owner.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.
